Wow, it sure has been a while since we've updated our blog! We really need to get better at keeping our loyal followers informed. This year has continued to present a myriad of challenges: the on-going Covid-19 pandemic, supply chain disruptions (sick of that phrase yet? us too), rapid inflation in the U.S., and the ongoing struggles of shipping couriers. Focusing on shipping for a moment, the surge in fuel prices and labor shortages mean that shipping rates, particularly for international packages, continue to increase on a weekly basis. We are doing our best to keep these costs in check and aborb as much as we can, whenever it is possible, but please be aware that we will need to continue to raise shipping prices as the increased are pushed upon us.
We've been hard at work on a lot of back-end improvements to our web site, which is working to serve you better than ever before. Together with our web development team, we hope to share even more improvements to our site throughout the year. We hope that you find the speed and usability of our site to be better than ever!
Presently, you may notice that we are out of stock on a lot of hot selling and important straps. For better or worse, these shortcomings aren't always to be blamed on the "supply chain." As a small family business, we fail to anticipate demand in some cases, and in other cases simply don't have the time to place orders with our factories as often as we need to be doing so. This has been a thorn in our side for years, and it's something that we are consciously trying to improve on. The good news on this front is that we currently have production running with every single supplier that we work with, so come spring time we hope to be back in-stock with just about every product.
On to some more happy news: we just released 9 new Chevron Adjustable straps, a new Matte Supreme colorway, and a new line of Watch Hex Cases for all of your travel storage needs.
Of particular note is the new "Knit" nylon we created for our Chevron Adjustable straps, another innovation we have brought to the market that you will not find anywhere else. The Knit Chevron nylon is generally matte, but with the added flair of one gloss thread intermixed. The resulting effect is elevated and luxurious.
