Kangaroo leather is one of the best kept not-so-secrets of the watch strap industry. With up to ten times the tensile strength of cow hide, kangaroo leather is thin and strong while remaining extremely comfortable on the wrist.

'Roo leather has a fairly smooth surface, with a porous-looking pebbled texture when you look very closely. The leather is vegetable (veg) tanned and aniline dyed. It doesn't get any easier than pairing a black leather watch strap with any watch or wardrobe. The strap has a matte finish and will read closer to a dark charcoal grey in bright light.

Each strap is made by hand in the United States, including hand stitching using heavy gauge thread. This model is constructed in a standard NATO style. The backside of this strap is the unlined natural suede of the leather. It features stainless steel NATO hardware in Brushed SS or Black PVD.
