Orange Braided Nylon - 18mm Perlon

Crown & Buckle began selling braided nylon straps back in the summer of 2014, to much fan-fare and praise from our customers. After moving production to a reliable factory, we are excited to share this large collection of colorful braided straps in popular sizes.

Braided nylon watch straps originated several decades ago [authentic vintage ones are very cool], and came of age in the era of rubber "tropic" straps, which share a similar vibe. They are commonly referred to as "perlon straps" in the watch world, since the material is a prominently woven pattern of wide nylon strands similar to Perlon® fibers. They look right at home on modern and vintage watches alike, and are a great summer strap due to their light and airy nature.

This strap features an orange colorway in 18mm. Each strap is ultrasonically welded to secure the material and prevent fraying. They are finished off with a polished vintage-style tang buckle made from period-correct nickel plated brass. There is one fixed keeper next to the buckle, and one floating keeper. 10.5"/265mm overall length fits most wrist sizes.
