Herringbone is just about as timeless as it gets when it comes to menswear patterns. We executed the pattern here with a dark blood red and a medium grey.
NYC based Suigeneric burst onto the scene in 2013 with a collection of highly attractive hand-waxed canvas straps. Taking it a step farther, their straps feature a slew of patterns, many styled after the latest menswear and high fashion trends. Our interest was piqued, and after getting a chance to meet with them in NYC, doing a collaboration was a high priority for us.
This collection of patterns was designed by us, and built to our normal NATO strap specifications. They are manufactured by Suigeneric in South Korea. Each strap has a self-welt rolled edge, and is meticulously waxed by hand, adding to the durability and water resistance* of the strap.
These are constructed in a single-layered 3-ring NATO style. The tail of the strap has plenty of room to be doubled back and tucked into the keepers twice, keeping the excess strap in check. The stainless steel hardware has a dull polished finish, that will look at home on polished or brushed watch cases.
*While we'd rate these as water-resistant, we'd still suggest one of our nylon NATO straps for full submersion/swimming/diving.
