Chromepak Navy - Horween Leather NATO Strap

Part of our new American Made collection, this strap is hand crafted in-house at our South Florida facility. This strap is made with Chromepak Navy leather from legendary Horween Leathers, a century-old tannery in Chicago, IL.

Horween Chromepak leather is chrome-tanned (as the name suggests), and is very heavily oiled. The heavy oiling ensures there is a considerable "pull-up" to this leather, meaning the oils migrate when the leather is flexed, allowing that area to lighten for added effect. The leather is 1.2mm thick.

Each strap is made by hand, including hand stitching using heavy gauge grey thread. This model is constructed in a double-layered "Regular" NATO style. The underside of this strap is the suede backside of the leather hide (unfinished and unlined). It features stainless steel NATO style hardware in a variety of finishes (when available).

** NOTE: 22mm with gold hardware is the only option we have left in stock in this strap. We are unfortunately out of this leather and won't be making any more of this model.
